Chat has been a personal project of mine for some time. Many of the chat tools available today are built around artificial intelligence, and I believe this makes it harder for customers to reach the people behind a business. Customers become frustrated by the time they reach a real person, that is if they even get that far. Chat is a back-to-basics messaging service for your website, where your customers speak with you directly.
The Chat phone app lets you read and reply to messages when it suits you, and you decide the hours during which Chat is open. Outside those hours, visitors can leave a message, which reaches you by email. The design is intentionally calm and uncluttered, and it can be adapted to suit your website.
