Every web project is unique and created based on individual requirements. Once we discuss your requirements I will issue a proposal including a detailed description of what I will deliver, how long it will take and a breakdown of the required investment. As a starting point a basic, single page website will cost around £400. A domain name up to £25 (per year) and managed hosting starts at £250 per annum.

From the 8th July 2024 all projects are billed in British Sterling. For projects under £500 full payment is required upfront. For projects over £500 payments are split with a 50% deposit and 50% on sign-off. Web Hosting and Domain Renewal payments are due prior to the expiry date of the service. Late payments will result in loss of service and redemption / restoration fees. Hosting restoration fees are £150 and domain redemption fees are set by the registrar.

Yes, of course. I often take care of the full package for clients, including domain name registration and renewals. Don't worry though, if I register and manage your domain on your behalf you are the legal owner until such time you let the registration lapse.

Each project comes with 30 days support to iron out any bugs or issues with the initial brief. This does not cover any changes to the original brief or adding in functionality. After 30 days support can be provided via a maintenance contract or on an adhoc basis.

The only time I request that your website is hosted with me is if you are using a monthly subscription service (such as my Air Calendar product) or we have a payment plan setup to spread the cost of your investment. Other than that you can host your website on any suitable host you wish. Most of my clients prefer to host their website with me, so in the unlikely event of a problem occurring it can be resolved with one simple call.

No, email is a complicated beast and better left to the professionals. As of 8th July 2024 I will no longer be provided free email accounts with web hosting packages. I use FastMail and highly recommend them!

I will optimise your website for speed and best practices according to Google. If you want to rank for specific search terms we can discuss a Search Engine Optimisation package. As I like to be upfront and honest to help manage expectations, depending on the difficulty of the search terms you wish to rank for this may require a significant budget and time frame to achieve top results. I would recommend optimising your site for localised search terms first (e.g. Estate Agent in Brighton) as they can generate traffic to your website in a much shorter timeframe.

Yes, all my work is carried out remotely, including meetings. Email remains an efficient mode of communication and I can meet with clients on the phone or using Face Time. It may be possible to arrange a face to face meeting but please be aware this may occur a fee and travel expenses.
